Jessie is a proud Australian Showmen & representative of the Showmen's Guild of Australasia. Growing up on the show circuit led to working for one of Australia's largest amusement companies - starting right from the bottom & eventually working all the way up to Site Manager for large scale events, overseeing a large range of food outlets, game joints, amusements & more. At just 16yo, Jessie was trusted to oversee the management & day-to-day operations of Australia's First Mobile Water Park in Sydney CBD.
Jessie has also worked a range of other jobs while expanding his business & has a particular passion for specialty coffee & animals (especially horses) having worked for Group 1 Horse Racing Trainer Kris Lees. Growing up as a Scout & holding a position as Cub Scout Leader for several years, Jessie is fantastic with children & easily communicates with children of all ages/abilities.
Absolute Megatainment was founded in 2012 when Jessie started providing Mobile DJ services for school discos & birthday parties at the age of just 14yo. He purchased his first jumping castle at age 18, quickly followed by a Coffee Van (which he dearly misses!). He has since grown to be one of Newcastle's most reputable amusement operators & event suppliers. In addition to Absolute Megatainment, Jessie also owns/operates another event business, curating & managing his own events - Fun4All Events
Jessie is a perfectionist with every aspect of his business - safety & presentation are his key focuses. He takes a lot of pride in his large collection of equipment, ensuring everything is always kept clean & maintained in perfect condition - always ready to make people smile & have fun!
Jessie is a current member & representative of the Showmen's Guild of Australasia.
Brandon joined our team in 2017 as a coordinator for one of our larger events. He now attends most events in the capacity of Events Manager, managing our team of event staff, food stall staff & amusement operators.
Like Jessie, Brandon holds a current NSW Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, NSW Working With Children Check & First Aid/CPR Certificates. Brandon is a certified operator for all our amusements however his favorite is definitely the Mechanical Meltdown!
Brandon came to us from a party supply & hire store on the Central Coast. He has extensive experience in balloon arrangement & party planning. Brandon has the ability to create a truly memorable experience for your next birthday, engagement or anniversary event.
Our team of Event Staff & Amusement Operators come from a range of backgrounds; most have years of experience in either the events or amusement industries.
Responsible for overseeing the setup of amusements at most events, Steve (our Site Supervisor) has been setting up stages & marquees at events for over 30 years.
All our Event Staff & Amusement Operators hold a valid NSW Working With Children Check & current First Aid/CPR Certificates. Every staff member is easily identifiable in our highly visible Event Staff uniform. Our staff also undertake regular refresher training aimed to constantly improve operational practices & overall site safety for both our staff & members of the public.
Our operators are regularly given the opportunity to travel with us to regional agricultural shows along with other operators from the Showmen's Guild Of Australasia - providing our amusements at various regional agricultural shows such as Manilla, Barraba, Blaney, Wingham, Gloucester, Dungog, Stroud, Bulahdelah, Maitland & more.
