Jessie refers to himself as a 'modern showmen', having grown up on the showgrounds & starting work for one of Australia's largest amusement companies at the age of just 13 years old. Working the game joints, showbags, inflatables & food vans every weekend led to being promoted as Sideshow Manager at only 16 years old. Just 12 months later, Jessie wound up in Sydney CBD as the Site Manager for Australia's First Mobile Water Park.
Absolute Megatainment was founded in 2012 when Jessie started providing Mobile DJ services for school discos & birthday parties at the age of 14. He purchased his first jumping castle in 2016 & has since grown to be one of Newcastle's most reputable amusement operators. Jessie is a perfectionist with every aspect of his business, with safety & presentation his key focuses. He takes a lot of pride in his collection of amusements, always ensuring everything is kept clean & in great condition.
Jessie is currently a Proposed Member of the Showmen's Guild of Australasia for 2021.
While working every weekend on the show circuit, Jessie has worked weekdays at cafes, service stations & at Newcastle Racecourse for horse racing trainer Kris Lees. Having grown up in Scouts & being a Cub Scout Leader, Jessie is fantastic with children & easily communicates with children of all ages.
Brandon joined our team in 2017 as a coordinator for one of our larger events. He now attends most events in the capacity of Assistant Events Manager, managing our team of event staff & amusement operators.
Like Jessie, Brandon holds a current NSW Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, NSW Working With Children Check & First Aid/CPR Certificates. Brandon is a certified operator for all our amusements however his favorite is definitely the Mechanical Meltdown!
Brandon came to us from a party supply & hire store on the Central Coast. He has extensive experience in balloon arrangement & party planning. Brandon has the ability to create a truly memorable experience for your next birthday, engagement or anniversary event.
Our team of Event Staff & Amusement Operators come from a range of backgrounds; most have years of experience in either the events or amusement industries.
Responsible for overseeing the setup of amusements at most events, Steve (our Site Supervisor) has been setting up stages & marquees at events for almost 30 years.
All our Event Staff & Amusement Operators hold a valid NSW Working With Children Check & current First Aid/CPR Certificates. Every staff member is easily identifiable in our highly visible Event Staff uniform. Our staff also undertake regular refresher training aimed to constantly improve operational practices & overall site safety for both our staff & members of the public.
Our operators are regularly given the opportunity to travel with us to regional agricultural shows along with other operators from the Showmen's Guild Of Australasia, providing amusements at various regional shows such as Manilla, Wingham, Scone & Maitland.
